Mazel Tov to our Director of Dance, Rachel Miller! ๐๐
Rachel was recently selected as a USA Cheerleader, a highly competitive program requiring rigorous auditions and mastery of multiple forms of dance and athletic performance. Itโs the result of years of hard work and dedication to her craft.
Through the USA Cheer program, Rachel recently participated in , a full-day rehabilitation and recreation clinic featuring like sailing and kayaking for disabled and injured military veterans.
Rachel holds a B.A. in Dance and brings her training in choreography, performance, and multiple styles of dance to her work. If youโve been around the BT community for a while, youโve probably seen her intricate choreography at our annual dance concert (held each spring) and BT Community Theatre performances.
Our students also get to learn from her through dance classes, as well as GWAP (Grade-Wide Arts Program) and SWAP (School-Wide Arts Program) - weekly opportunities for every student to choose an arts offering that interests them.
Rachel is constantly expanding her own skills and bringing that experience back to our student dancers, and they get to learn from someone whoโs still out there training, performing, creating, and using her skills to make a difference.
