The BACWIM Executive Board has decided to cancel our 2nd Annual Women's Retreat so BACWIM members can attend the Homegoing Ceremony for Sis. Sandra Meekins. She was a beloved member of Empowerment Temple AME Church and the artist community in Baltimore.

BACWIM stands with you during this season of grief.

Hidden among the rolling hills of Sparks, Maryland is a sacred piece of African American history that deserves to be preserved for future generations.

The historic Stevenson AME Church Cemetery is the final resting place of countless individuals whose stories helped shape our community. The upkeep of the historic cemetery is important, and we need YOUR help to ensure these stories are not forgotten.
