✨Fall 2021 Highlight✨
From November 29 through December 14, the Delta Lambda chapter of SPO Honors Society, UMBC New Friends of Yours, and Erickson School of Aging Studies hosted a holiday greeting card campaign to bring holiday cheer to older adults! Huge kudos to SPO President, Laura-Catherine, SPO Vice President, Harry, and NFOY President, Alanna, for leading this effort! We were able to gather almost 200 cards for older adults and had virtual card submissions from students as far as Texas! The cards were taken to Summit Parking Nursing Home in Catonsville where residents could enjoy warm greetings, touching stories, and funny holiday jokes. ☺️🖤💛
