The annual Voice of Baltimore is once again around the corner! This is our 9th year, and sign-ups are open to everyone in the area. The competition consists of two rounds. The first round will take place on Saturday, March 9th, at 2PM in Maryland 109. Our judges, who are professional singers and performers from the Peabody Institute, will select 10 best singers to enter the final round. Selection in the first round is based completely on the judges, while the second round will be open to audience votes.

Huge thanks to all of our performers and staff for putting together such a great show! We had more than 500 attendees from not only the Johns Hopkins community, but also other schools and local residents. Happy Chinese New Year everyone!

Hope you all had a great time last night at the JHUCSSA Lantern Festival Gala!

The gala featured JHU Yong Han Lion Dance Troupe, UMD TerpWushu, Music Dynasty, Dragonfly Dance Club at UD, UMD Who is Frank Band, Baltimore Chinese School, and many other great talents. We gave out 700 dollars worth of prizes including stuffed animals, a polaroid, a hotpot, and an Ipad mini. There were also many interactive games that sent the audience laughing in tears.

We'd like to thank all of you who came to Shriver last night to support the gala. The gala also would not have been possible without the amazing performers and hard-working staff members! Finally, we'd like to give a shout-out to Clear Harmonies Productions for the amazing job on the sound support!
