2026 KidzStuff Center Activities

📚 Back to School Nights are designed to help parents transition into the new school year with new teachers and new student expectations. Come get to know your child’s new teacher and the academic goals for the year.

⭐️ HBCU Week is a fun week of activities exposing our friends to college look alike activities. Follow the daily activity prompts to help our friends learn fun facts about college and university life. HBCU week will be October 5th-9th this year.

📕 Community Partner Read Alouds are designed to welcome community members from different employment industries into the center to read to the children about their jobs. This activity will help our friends learn about the different types of careers they can choose in the future.

🎄 On December 11th, Christmas Programming will expose our children to the arts and drama giving them a chance to perform the story of Christmas for our families.

💫 Christmas Spirit Week is a fun week of activities for our friends to enjoy and play dress up. Follow the daily activity prompts to help our friends participate in this wacky week. Christmas Spirit week will be December 14th - 18th this year!

A new school year is in full swing, and we are so excited for all the learning, growing, discovering, and investigating ahead!

A few important September reminders for our KidzStuff families:
⭐️ Centers closed on September 7 for Labor Day

⭐️ New Center Hours Begin September 8: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Uniform Reminder:�⭐️ Our uniform, Navy blue tops and khaki bottoms are worn Monday–Thursday. Children are allowed to wear their choice of age appropriate attire on Fridays!

KidzStuff 2026/2027 Fall Field Trips and Family Participation:

🚌 Field trips are a fun and exciting way to take classroom learning into the world around us. Unless otherwise stated by your center director chaperons are not required but are welcomed!

One family member over the age of 18 can join us on field trip days. If your child is not attending the field trip they are not able to come to school on that day, as all educators will be on the field trip.
⭐️ Children with an outstanding tutition balance are not able to attend field trips until their account balance is cleared.

All field trip money is collected by center administrative staff ONLY, do not give field trip money to classroom staff. Money is collected via cash (exact change) or via Zelle, [email protected].
⭐️ Field trip money is non-refundable. Every field trip requires an individual permission slip with payment.

Families are welcomed and encouraged to participate in all center family activities. These activities are a fun way to include parents/guardians in the learning process throughout the year. Please sign-up and plan to attend as your presence is needed.

⭐️Let’s Talk School Readiness Skills⭐️

These are skills we sometimes overlook but are very important to demonstrate upon entering school:

- Zipping and unzipping a jacket
- Getting in and out of the car
- Putting belongings away
- Throwing away trash
- Opening a lunch box
- Independently putting away books after reading
- Walking in and out of school independently

⭐️ These skills take time to learn but our friends can and will learn them with the help of parents and their KidzStuff educators.

⭐️ To assist our two-year-olds in learning these activities, we suggest snaps versus buttons on clothing, velcro versus shoestrings on shoes, and underwear versus pull-ups.

⭐️ In preschool classrooms, absolutely no pull-ups,
shoestrings, or buttons for four-year-olds.

⭐️ All friends should bring their lunch in a lunchbox to help them learn how to independently enjoy their lunch.

Back to School at KidzStuff!

✏️ Summer is quickly coming to an end; it’s time to gear up for the 2026/2027 school year! The new school year promises exciting new adventures for our pre-k friends filled with learning, growing, discovering, and investigating in the Circle Forest.
Dilly Gator and her brother JT Gator, Manny Salamander, Chuck Wood, Rosalita Saulita, Bruno Buzzbee, and Great Auntie Lu have formed a club to solve mysteries, tackle tough problems, and investigate their world.

✏️ Your child(ren) will be invited to join the club where they will talk about and practice important social and emotional skills, such as kindness, taking turns, and overcoming fears.

✏️ They will also learn to recall details about story settings and characters to comprehend new stories. Use prior knowledge to make predictions and solve problems. And find common ground between the InvestiGators’ world and their own.
