Our 2025 SUSTAIN (Supporting Strategic Training of Adaptable and Integrated Nuclear Workforce) Program WINTER SATURDAY STEM ACADEMY REGISTRATION is now available
Our in person Saturday academy includes a series of weekly hands-on activities. Students will engage in a variety of "hands-on, minds-on" STEM activities that are aligned to the National Math, Science, and Technology standards and learn about different NASA careers in STEM as they delve into each grade level project. Our 2025 SUSTAIN WINTER SATURDAY ACADEMY REGISTRATION is now available to students in GRADES 1-12 ONLY.
MSU SUSTAIN (Supporting Strategic Training of Adaptable and Integrated Nuclear Workforce) WINTER STEM SATURDAY ACADEMY 2025 is a rigorous academic enrichment program designed to foster excitement among students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, focusing on Nuclear Power.
As we engage your students in the fascinating world of nuclear science with standards-aligned resources that connect them to applications of nuclear processes, students will explore the science behind creating energy with fission and fusion, learn how to measure and use radiation--something they can't even see and apply what they learn to address real-world challenges.
Our in person Saturday academy includes a series of weekly hands-on activities. Students will engage in a variety of "hands-on, minds-on" STEM activities that are aligned to the National Math, Science, and Technology standards and learn about different NEUP careers in STEM as they delve into each grade level project.
Students will enjoy:

• Rigorous Enhanced Curriculum
• A balanced schedule including live instruction, peer collaboration and self-paced project development per day
To participate in the program each student will need to report to Morgan State University Campus for 5 consecutive Saturdays from FEBRUARY 22, 2025 to MARCH 22, 2025.
The in person sessions will start on Saturday, February 22, 2025 and run on Saturday for 5 weeks. CAMPUS WILL FOLLOW BALTIMORE CITY INCLEMENT WEATHER UPDATES. IF MORGAN STATE CAMPUS IS CLOSING, WE WILL SEND A MASS EMAIL BY SATURDAY MORNING AT 8 AM. Classes start at 9:00 a.m., and students will participate in 3 hours of interactive instruction with the teacher, followed by the student's independent activities. The session ends promptly at 12:00 pm.
Tuition cost for the SPRING ACADEMY is FREE after the $20.00 PER CHILD NON_REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION FEE is paid. Students MUST be in GRADE 1 to GRADE 12 ONLY to be admitted to the program.
Students may ONLY register for one grade level. If your child's grade is not available for the session you want, that means that class is full and we will not be accepting any more students in that class. Please select the grade he/she is currently in for the 2024-25 School Year. (For example, I have a child in 6th grade, I will select 6 grade). Each child must be registered on a separate form.

When: Programs are offered on Saturdays from FEBRUARY 22, 2025 to MARCH 22, 2025. In Person Camp runs every SATURDAY. Classes start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m. Students must complete at least 4 of the 5 Saturday sessions to earn a certificate.

Registration cost per child: $20.00; Full payment at registration is required to hold a spot for your child. ALL REGISTRATION PAYMENTS MADE AFTER 11:59 PM ON FEBRUARY 18, 2025 ARE $25.00.

Refunds: Are only provided for medical emergencies verified by a doctor. Reimbursement is not given for any missed days or cancellations.

Our 2021 VIRTUAL SPRING STEM SATURDAY ACADEMY REGISTRATION is now available. Our online camp includes a series of live chats, videos, presentations and hands-on activities. Students will engage in a variety of "hands-on, minds-on" STEM activities that are aligned to the National Math, Science, and Technology standards and learn about different NASA careers in STEM as they delve into each grade level project.

To participate in the program each student will need a laptop and internet access. If you have more than one child at home, please make sure all children have a laptop and access to the internet. THERE ARE NO IN PERSON CLASSES. ALL CLASSES ARE ONLINE.

Classes start at 10:00 a.m. and students will participate in up to 3 hours of virtual interactive instruction with the teacher followed by independent activities by the student. Tuition cost for the FALL ACADEMY is FREE after the $12.00 PER CHILD NON_REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION FEE is paid. Kindergarten students MUST be at least 5 years old to be admitted to the program.
