Our next Brother Spotlight goes to Lorraine Rinaldi!

“Hi! My name is Lorraine Rinaldi and I am a senior double majoring in Film & Media Studies and Economics. Outside of AKPsi, I am involved with Studio North, the student-run film production company on campus, Economic Policy Issues Colloquium (EPIC), Alumni Student Ambassadors, and Phi Mu. This summer I traveled to Edinburgh for the Fringe Arts Festival and did an investment banking internship in NYC at Jefferies, where I will be working full-time after graduating. AKPsi has helped me both socially and professionally by introducing me to some of my closest friends at Hopkins and helping me figure out what type of career I wanted.”

Meet Xinan! A sophomore from Bangladesh majoring in CS:

“Also here’s a caption:

Hey! My name is Xinan and I’m majoring in CS, with a minor in Entrepreneurship. I rushed AKPsi my freshman spring, and my favourite part about AKPsi is the tight-knit, supportive community – shoutout to my amazing PC, alpha omicron. Last summer, I interned at an enterprise software start-up called Motiva AI, and this summer, I’ll be interning at Amazon as a software engineer.

Some of my hobbies include going to the gym, travelling, and exploring restaurants/cafe spots – some of my favorites in Baltimore are Ceremony Coffee (both locations), La Cuchara, Petit Louis Bistro, and Heritage Kitchen!”

First Brother Spotlight of the semester is Stella Park!

“Hi! I’m Stella and I am a junior majoring in BME and minoring in business. Outside of AKPsi, I am an associate at A-Level Capital, co-founder of ThermOptik, a medical device startup, and a member of a design team. Last summer, I worked at Medtronic as a contract manufacturing intern and I will most likely be a cloud consulting intern at AWS this upcoming summer. In my spare time I enjoy working out, listening to music (mostly hip hop & rnb), and spending quality time with my friends, especially the ones I met through AKPsi :).”
