As we commemorate this important day in our nation's history, we celebrate the ongoing pursuit of equity, opportunity, and economic empowerment for all.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Joanne for her outstanding work with the Stocks in the Future program at Mother Seton Academy this year. Joanne worked alongside lead teacher, Ms. Lindsey, helping to deliver engaging lessons and create a dynamic learning environment for students.

Her dedication and ability to connect with students played an important role in the success of the class. Together, Joanne and Ms. Lindsey helped bring financial literacy concepts to life, encouraging students to learn, participate, and grow throughout the year.

We are grateful for Joanne's commitment to our students and for the positive impact she has made at Mother Seton Academy.Thank you, Joanne!

As the school year comes to a close, SIF students are putting their financial literacy skills into action through virtual investing experiences that connect classroom learning to the real world.

By researching companies and building portfolios, students are ending the year with greater confidence, critical thinking skills, and excitement about their futures.

We’re proud of all the hard work our students have put in this year and can’t wait to see where their futures take them!

We were honored to recognize Michael Paszkiewicz, Sean Garcia, Polly Schandorf with the SIF Community Service Award at our Spring Spectacular: Bloom & Bid event!

Ruby for Good team members, Sean Garcia and Polly Schandorf, were recognized for their incredible partnership in developing the new SIF student stock portfolio app. Through their leadership, innovation, and commitment to our mission, they helped transform a vision into a user friendly, sustainable platform that will support students and educators for years to come.

Michael Paszkiewicz, a dedicated member of the SIF Tech Committee, played a key role in bringing the student website and portfolio app to life. His technical expertise, thoughtful problem solving, and commitment to SIF helped strengthen the project every step of the way.

We are deeply grateful for their partnership, generosity, and dedication to empowering the next generation of financially confident leaders. Thank you for making a lasting impact on Stocks in the Future and the students we serve!

As Myeasher wraps up her year as a Program Specialist with Stocks in the Future, we're taking a moment to celebrate the impact she's had on students and teachers throughout the school year.

A former SIF board member and passionate advocate for financial literacy education, Myeasher brought enthusiasm, experience, and a deep commitment to student success into every classroom she served. Over the next few posts, she'll share some of the experiences and moments that made this year so rewarding.

When asked what people might not realize about supporting students, Myeasher shared:

"It's not just about teaching financial concepts, it's making sure lessons are engaging, helping teachers feel supported, checking in on students' understanding, and creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions."

Behind every successful program is a team working hard to support students. From classroom preparation to collaborating with educators, Myeasher has spent the year helping make financial education relevant, engaging, and accessible. Her dedication and commitment have made a lasting impact on the schools, teachers, and students she has worked with throughout the year.

We were excited to welcome Jeffrey from T. Rowe Price to Hampstead Hill Academy!

Jeffrey spent time with students breaking down stock tables and helping them understand how to read and interpret stock data, an important step in building real world financial literacy skills.

At SIF Spring Spectacular: Bloom & Bid, Edward Ramsey, Jr. shared a powerful presentation on financial literacy, access, and empowerment. Drawing from more than 25 years of experience in advertising, media, and marketing strategy, Edward spoke about the barriers many students face when it comes to financial education and the importance of giving young people the tools, exposure, and confidence to build brighter futures.

As a Senior Executive turned educator, Edward’s message highlighted the life changing impact programs like Stocks in the Future can have by helping students not only learn about money, but truly understand and speak its language. We are grateful for his insight, passion, and continued support of financial empowerment for students!

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We are grateful for their sacrifice and the freedoms they made possible.

Congratulations to Nick Welsh on his Emeritus Board Member recognition at the SIF Spring Spectacular: Bloom & Bid!

For more than 10 years, Nick has played an important role in helping Stocks in the Future grow and thrive. He served on both the Curriculum Committee and Board while also supporting students and overseeing the SIF Sports Spectacular silent auction. His leadership helped guide SIF through the pandemic and made a lasting impact on the organization.
