Defying the laws of aerodynamics, rookie Jaishon Scott put the CRJ Faculty-Staff Ballers up 40-39 in the first half over the CRJ Student Hornets. The second half was closely contested till the final buzzers, with the Faculty-Staff on the high side of a 79-78 final score. Hats off to the students who hit threes from all over the perimeter to challenge their opponents right to the end.

In a valiant come-from-behind total team effort the CRJ faculty-staff ballers stung the CRJ student Hornets in The Hive on Monday afternoon, vanquishing the heavily favored students by a final score of 79-78!

A season that was filled with big 2nd half comebacks and dominating wins from the opening tip came to a conclusion on Sunday afternoon at the CEI Arena on the UMBC campus when The Hornets were buzzing from the start, took charge in the 3rd quarter, and defeated the Park School 67-49 to win the MIAA Conference Championship. A team effort from start to finish! Congrats to the players and coaches on a season well done! Hornets Rule!

The Hornets stung the Park High School team today at the CEI Arena on the campus of UMBC and came up with a 67-49 victory in the Conference Championship game! A new banner to raise at the Hornets Nest!

The Lady Hornets were in action on Tuesday night at the Hornet’s Nest against Perry Hall. After an 11-11 start, things just didn’t go The Hornets’ way and they came away on the short end of a 38-50 final score. It’s been a strong start for the Hornets and they’ll have a chance to get back on track in an away game today against the Seed School of Maryland. Go You Hornets!

The CRJ Hornets hosted the Gunston Herons on Tuesday at their Fells Point campus. Popping baskets from all areas of the court and running a fast break offensive display all game long hosted, the Hornets raced to 41-11 Halftime lead and cruised to a 75-29 victory. Go You Hornets!

The Friday Dec 5th Opener was a 44-7 victory over Bard, a game that gave the crowd of classmates, family & friends, staff & faculty a lot to cheer about. Way2Go, Hornets!

The Hornets built a 27-2 halftime lead on shooting from every spot on the court, hitting the jump shots, driving the lane, running the fast breaks.

CRJ Hornets Gym was the place to be Friday afternoon for the Opening Game of the Lady Hornets’ basketball season. The offensive power of the team was on full display all game long.
