The Baltimore Education Coalition is a partnership of schools & organizations united by a mission and vision for public education in Baltimore City.

There are currently 26 member organizations that make up the BEC. The BEC has endorsed two campaigns for the 2012-2013 school year:

-Transform Baltimore, which aims to renovate all school facilities in Baltimore City so that every child can learn and every teacher can teach in a facility that is safe, modern, and properly equipped.

BEC Community Night in Annapolis 03/26/2019

Parents, students, and advocates from Baltimore City met with legislators for a last big push before the end of the 2019 legislative session.

BEC advocated for the full $325 million in the House's "Blueprint" bill (HB1413/SB1030) for FY20, restoring the Senate's $100 million cut from special education is CRITICAL for city students, and for students in county districts.
BEC also advocated for the full $750 million in the House's Blueprint bill to begin funding a new Kirwan education funding formula in FY21.
