We are so proud of our Thomas Johnson students for their incredible performance at the POPP (Peabody Outreach for Piano Pedagogy Program) recital. Their hard work, dedication, and confidence truly shined on stage, and they represented our school so well. We want to thank the Peabody students who instructed them throughout the school year.

A special thank you to Mr. Bunn and Ms. Florea for showing up for the kids tonight!❀️🎢

Pictures from opening night of β€œThe Real Housewives of Shakespeare,” presented by the TJ Drama Club. All of the students put on a fantastic performance over the weekend. Thank you to Mr. Held, Mr. Cavalier, and Mr. Schmitt for all of the work you did to make the play happen this year. A big shoutout to Kelly Sheehan, who helped secure a grant through The South Baltimore Gateway Partnership to secure stage lighting and additional microphones for our drama club!

Amazing job, everyone! πŸŽπŸ’™

Today, our fabulous fourth grader, Lily M. led a school-wide fundraiser to support her grandmother, Gail, in her fight against Pancreatic Cancer. TJ students and staff showed their support by wearing as much purple as possible. Together, Lily helped raise almost five hundred dollars for the FCSP Foundation.

FCSP Foundation was created six years ago to honor the legacy of Geoffrey Shudtz, uncle to TJ students Brendan and Kevin. It is a volunteer-run organization, so every dollar raised goes directly to cutting-edge pancreatic cancer research. Since its inception, FCSP has awarded $960,000 in grants to pancreatic cancer researchers.

Thank you to the TJ family for showing your support! πŸ’œ
