Bill Wolinski - a memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. at 1 PM with Father Nicholas Sichangi officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be mailed to Horn Point Laboratory, 2020 Horns Point Road, Cambridge, MD 21613 or online at

William “Bill” S. Wolinski, 78, of Crocheron passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. He was born in Baltimore on July 7, 1947 to the late Steven and Helen Rose Wolinski. Mr. Wolinski graduated from Overlea High School as the valedictorian, class of 1965. He then attended the University of Rochester in New York and graduated in 1969 with his bachelor’s degree in chemistry. In 1970, Mr. Wolinski was drafted and became a Marine.

I am sad to report the passing of our classmate Bill Wolinski. Bill passed on Feb 4 of this year after a battle with cancer. Bill was a long time friend and I am sure he will be missed by many - he was our class valedictorian.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

There will be a memorial service in Cambridge, Md - I shall post more info as I get it.

I shall update our In Memory video later on when I get back to the USA.

While not a member of our class - she was in the Class of 63 - many of you may remember her - she penned the original Overlea alma mater.

Sadly she passed away last year.

I've sadly learned that our classmate Ronald Johnson passed away back on June 8, 2025. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
