This past weekend, our National Moot Court Team competed at the John J. Gibbons Moot Court Competition. We’re proud to share that Olivia and Garri earned Second Place Best Brief!!
This marks a historic moment—Ubalt Law hasn’t been recognized at this competition in over five years.

The John J. Gibbons Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition focuses on timely and complex issues in criminal procedure and criminal law. Hosted in the heart of Newark, New Jersey, the competition brings together more than forty law schools from across the country.
Good luck to Moot Court President Garri Edwards (3L) and Olivia Goughan (3L)! A huge thank you to their dedicated coaches, Laurie Bennett and Jessica Swadow, for their guidance and support.
