On June 19, 1865, the final enforcement of emancipation reached enslaved African Americans in Texas, marking a pivotal moment in our nation’s history. Juneteenth serves as a reminder that freedom is not merely a destination—it is a continuous commitment to justice, equity, education, and progress. As men of Iota, we recognize the importance of preserving our history, uplifting our communities, and continuing the work of those who came before us.

Their struggle, perseverance, and triumph inspire us to build a stronger future for generations to come.

It was an honor to commemorate Juneteenth in the heart of Grand Prairie. We marked the occasion by donating three laptops to scholarship recipients and hosting a voter registration table on site! Putting our values into action as we support the community.

We believe strong communities are built on deeds, not just words. Alpha Mu Omega remains committed to standing in service, support, and brotherhood. We’re here to do the work.
