The Tunbridge School is operated by Afya Baltimore Inc. (ABI) and is part of BCPSS. The school was founded in 2010 and is operated by Afya Baltimore Inc.

The Tunbridge School is an elementary/middle school in Govans, serving students in pre-k through 8th grade. (ABI), which also operates The Belair-Edison School. “Afya” is a Swahili word for health. At Tunbridge and all of the ABI schools, we focus on the intellectual, physical and social health of our students.

This week students in grades Prek through 3rd grade visited the bookmobile and were able to select books to keep and enjoy. Thank you to the Maryland Book Bank for providing our students with such a great experience!

Earlier this month a team of elementary students competed in the second annual May Madness Spelling Bee put on by Leader Breeders. Our team worked hard to win a spot to represent their grade level and as a team won the first and second round of the competition. Way to go Owls!
