We were proud to celebrate this yearâs 2026 Legacy Honoree, The Honorable Lynn Stewart Mays, whose impact has touched and shaped so many within the legal community.

Close out the semester tomorrow with BLSA! Weâre partnering with the Health Law Society and LALSA to host an insightful panel on careers in health law. Hear directly from experienced practitioners about what it takes to succeed in the field and the paths theyâve taken to get there.

This weekend BLSA hosted its 1st Annual Recognition Ceremony to celebrate the prestigious honors and charitable work of our members. Together we are increasing the number of Black attorneys to 7%, a historic endeavor.

Immigration Enforcement and the Clinic: Moderated Discussion with Medical & Law Students
Tomorrow, Saturday April 11, at 2pm in Room 202
Please join us for a moderated discussion on caring for patients in the context of immigration enforcement. Bring your questions on how to navigate the current legal landscape in the healthcare setting, key distinctions between civil and criminal custody, the authority immigration enforcement does and does not have, and more. Providers and patients have legal rights. In this discussion, we will learn how to assert them.Â
