Join us for our April Awareness and Pride Speaker event THIS SATURDAY on Two-Spirit Life and Wild Rice: Indigeneity & Q***rness!! We are so excited to invite Giiwedin Indizhinikaaz, a Two-Spirit Anishinaabe environmental and q***r rights activist, to campus to give a presentation on Indigeneity, its intertwinings with q***rness and two-spirited identity, as well as a demonstration about indigenous wild rice 🌾 We will see you on Saturday April 11th from 5-7pm in the Gilman Writing Center! 🥳🌈 Spread the word and invite your friends as we have tons planned for this months AA&P!

Join us WEDNESDAY NIGHT for an exciting Crip Time Poetry and Writing Workshop we will be having with Blue Jays and Poets on April 8th 🩵 We will be talking about a number of q***r and disabled contemporary poets, learning about disability justice and the intersectionality between q***rness, disabled identity, and Black and brown experiences via Sins Invalid and the Rotten Crip Collective, in addition to exploring the meaning and reclaiming within disabled communities of crip time. At the end we will be taking a field trip to see 's lastest book talk IN PERSON at so don't miss it!! We'll see you at Gilman 277 at 6pm 🥳

It is that time of the semester! Are you interested in getting involved in and running JHU's oldest LGBTQ+ student org on campus? DSAGQ Board Elections are happening MARCH 30TH and we are looking for exciting and dedicated students (especially freshman and sophomores)! Those running will give a brief 1-3 minute speech as to why you want to be elected for the position you chose, and then we will vote :)
In order to apply for a position and/or vote for individuals, you must be present in person at our GBM and applicants must have attended at least 1 GBM. Students must be willing to commit time to regular weekly board meetings held in person with a virtual option, having up to 2 unexcused absences. If you have any questions regarding any of this, feel free to DM us, and we can't wait to see you on March 30th 🥳
