At City’s annual One City, One Book event, teachers and students gathered for a joyful afternoon with author Hannah V. Sawyerr. Her novel in verse, Truth Is, a finalist for the National Book Award, inspired the City community to reflect on the importance of choice for young women. Thanks to the student planning committee - Myana Dean, Saumni Richardson, and Zoe Johnson and our faculty advisor, Ms. Ullmann!
