Hats off to the Class of 2026!π§’π This evening, we kicked off our Eighth Grade celebrations with the Dixon Dinner. As is tradition, each student received a few special gifts from Calvert, including a CS pin and a hat bearing the name or logo of their chosen high school.

We recognized the entire Class of 2030 β soon-to-be Fifth Graders β this morning at the Tenth Age Moving Up Ceremony!π This important milestone signifies the completion of the students' Lower School years and celebrates their many achievements thus far.β

As part of Calvert tradition, the ceremony concluded with the annual march to the Middle School, where our Mighty Bees will continue their studies in the fall. Congratulations to all!ππ€β

As we look ahead to tonightβs Dixon Dinner and tomorrowβs graduation ceremony, we hope everyone will join us in congratulating the Calvert Class of 2026!ποΈ After earning more than 160 acceptances and 50+ merit-based scholarships, the Eighth Graders have chosen to attend 17 high schools that reflect their unique strengths, passions, and goals.
We will highlight these achievements and more tonight and tomorrow morning! Well done, Mighty Bees!

Congratulations to Caroline B. '30 and James B. '30 on earning this year's Girls' Junior Cup and Boys' Junior Cup!ποΈ π
These awards honor students who showed unparalleled sportsmanship and exemplified the Calvert Pillars in their P.E. classes. We recognized and celebrated these students, the entire Class of 2030, and some of the Lower School's most impactful teachers today at this year's final Lower School Assembly.
We look forward to celebrating again tomorrow as families enjoy the Tenth Age Moving Up Ceremony!

Last week, Calvert Eighth Graders wrapped up an exciting year of athletics with a color run (and small battle) on Brown Field!π¨ We're still cleaning paint powder off the camera, but the kids had a blast!

It's celebration season for all ages! Yesterday morning, Kiddie Calvert Tuscany hosted a sunny graduation ceremony for our four-year-old friends.βοΈποΈ Congratulations to all of our little learners!β

For many Seventh and Eighth Grade students β and countless alumni β Latin is a beloved subject that becomes a lifelong connection to Calvert. Each year, we are thrilled to share student results from the National Latin Exam, and this year is no different!
This spring, Seventh and Eighth Grade Latin students earned 50+ honors, including three perfect scores from Maggie '26, Adlai '27, and Harlow '27!
Sixteen students received summa cm laude honors, 13 claimed maxima cm laude, 19 earned magna cm laude, and nine more earned cm laude distinction. Well done to all Calvert scholars!

With Father's Day just around the corner, the Fifth Agers celebrated the dads and father figures in their lives!βοΈ On Friday, students serenaded their guests with sweet songs and surprised them with hand-painted gifts at the Father's Day Coffee.

The results are in from the national world language exams β the National Latin Exam, Le Grand Concours, the National Spanish Challenge, and the National Spanish Exam β and Calvert Middle Schoolers earned more than 200 medals, ribbons, and recognitions!π
