Finding your way after loss can feel incredibly lonely. That’s why people like Shelly Lohmann are helping create spaces where connection, understanding and friendship can grow again. 💙
After experiencing profound loss in her own family, Shelly began building a warm and welcoming community for Widows and Widowers where people in their 60s and 70s can gather, share stories and support one another at their own pace.

Shavuot starts Thursday night and Baltimore knows how to celebrate 🍦✨
From Taharka Brothers and The Charmery to Prigel Family Creamery and Tipsy Scoop Baltimore, we rounded up some of our favorite local spots for a sweet Shavuot treat. Whether you’re all about classic scoops, dairy-free options, frozen custard, or fun seasonal flavors, there’s something for everyone.
Traditionally, Shavuot is connected to dairy and the “land flowing with milk and honey” so what better excuse to grab ice cream with family or friends?
