Jack Burkert presented the most informative class yesterday, Thursday, focusing on the industrial development in Baltimore in the 18th and early 19th centuries. The next 3 weeks will bring us up to the present day.
On Monday Rabbi Beit- Halachim will begin a 4 week discussion of Why We have Mezuzahs. Can’t wait!

Join Robert Baer, a highly sought after history instructor at various senior learning programs in the Baltimore area, discuss the abolition movement and the impact it had on America society and women's rights in this course entitled The crusade to End Slavery in America.

And who knew how creative women have been inventing everyday items of which we all use and depend upon such as scotch guard tape, chocolate cookies, Barbie dolls, central heating, and refrigerators. Barbara Blumberg will share with us the names and information about these remarkable women and all the difficulties they endured and overcame to improve our lives today.

There are only a couple of months left to the Summer/Fall SPICE semester.
It is easy and affordable to enroll for zoom classes. In September Ellen Katz presents Broadway Begins part 1, In October part 2, and Rabbi Floyd Herman will share how Judaism and Christianity are different and the same. In November we will learn about the Spanish War with Rex Rehfeld, and Barry Rascovar with discuss One Year after the Election. The semester ends in December with Robert Baer discussing the end of slavery and finally Barbara Blumberg will share with us all the inventions and contributions of women to our every day life.
