On Sunday, April 19, check out Kavran Lab PhD student Jon Vose’s poster (565/3), “Establishing the mechanistic link between chemotherapy response and Hippo-YAP signaling in ovarian cancer,” in the poster session starting at 2 p.m., and learn about Weeraratna Lab research at postdoc Murilo Ramos Rocha’s talk, “Age related phenotypic changes in melanoma create a tumor vulnerability to ferroptosis,” at 4:20 p.m.

On Tuesday, April 21, BMB Chair Ashani Weeraratna will chair the “Tumor-secreted Factors: The Next Hallmark of Cancer?” session starting at 10:15 a.m., and present “A Complex TIME: The impact of age on tumor progression” at 11:10 a.m. She'll also co-chair the “Innovative Targeted and Cellular Therapies for Exploiting Cancer Vulnerabilities” session at 2:30 p.m.
