On November 21, 2013, President Obama signed the HOPE Act. The HIV-Organ-Policy-Equity Act allows people living with HIV to register--and save lives--as organ donors to people living with HIV on the transplant waitlist. We're the team at Johns Hopkins leading an NIH funded study to ensure HIV-HIV transplants are safe, feasible, and effective for every community across the US. We believe in HOPE!
