Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Valid Driver's license (a function of the job is driving our shuttles daily)

Who we are:
Oasis Day Club, LLC is a day program serving adults with developmental disabilities. We are dedicated to ensuring our members have the best possible experience while they are here. We foster an environment that allows members to build social skills, develop relationships, experience community activities, and continue to grow their independent living skills to be successful on their own. We offer a variety of activities such as community exploration, crafts, fitness classes, sports games, book clubs, social interactions, science experiments, cooking lessons, and much more. Our members are our focus, and we strive to provide them with every opportunity to discover what is important to and for them.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Engage and enrich the members and assist them in having a successful day.
-Driving members on company-owned shuttles, to and from the club and community outings.
-You will be responsible for day-to-day activities and following a calendar of activities.
-You will help with cleaning the facility after the day is done.
-You will work closely with co-workers as a team.
-You will be required to complete daily documentation on the -member's days in accordance with DODD guidelines.
-You will be expected to help assist in feeding and toileting individuals when necessary and assist in walking or using a wheelchair.
Qualities we are looking for in a Member Specialist include:
-Creative mind, openness to learning new things.
-A positive attitude and ability to respect and understand others' differences.
-An enthusiastic personality and desire to have fun while working.
-Our members come first and foremost. You must be willing to put their needs above yours at all times.

Salary: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Benefits:
-401(k)
-Paid time off
-Schedule: 8-hour shift on a rotating 4-day work week schedule.
-A working lunch is included in these hours.
-Day shift 830-430
-Monday to Friday (no weekends)
-Work Location: Baltimore

***If you are already CPR and First-Aid certified and have your Medication Certificate and ability to pass medications, after 60 days of employment, you will receive a $500 bonus. See less

2 posts in the same week? You lucky ducks. Last night, Oasis took in its first ever hockey game! OSU might have lost it in overtime, but we still had an amazing night! Think we have some new hockey fans in the house!
