Loading one last reminder…This is what your support makes possible. ✨
Every donation—no matter the size—strengthens the people and programs that make St. Paul's truly exceptional. With just over a week left in our fiscal year, there's still time to join our community of alumni, families, faculty, and friends in making a gift to the One St. Paul's Fund.
Make your gift by June 30 at tinyurl.com/EOYGiving26 to help us finish the year strong!

From the ancient temples of Kyoto to the electric streets of Tokyo, our upper school students had an incredible journey through Japan—and the lessons they brought home go far beyond the classroom.
They explored bamboo forests and historic shrines, traveled by bullet train between cities, and experienced the remarkable contrast of old and new that makes Japan unlike anywhere else in the world. The trip culminated with students spending a week at our partner schools––Suiryo School in Yokohama for SPSG students and Rikkyo School in Niiza for SP students. These longstanding partnerships allow our students to live with host families and attend classes alongside their Japanese peers.
Experiences like this are at the heart of what we believe global education can and should be—developing cultural fluency, deepening empathy, and inspiring our students to engage with the world with open minds and curious hearts. We are so grateful to our community whose generosity makes these opportunities possible. Welcome home!

Summer at St. Paul's is officially underway—and the courts and fields are alive with energy!
Among camps this week, lacrosse, squash, and tennis campers are hitting the ground running under the guidance of some of St. Paul's own coaches, bringing the same training philosophy and high standards of our interscholastic athletics program right into the summer. Whether it's the first time picking up a racket or stick, or a returning camper looking to level up, every player is getting exceptional technical instruction built around fundamentals, sportsmanship, and confidence. The summer is just heating up. 🎾🥍

Eight students and two faculty members have returned from their week on Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, where they volunteered with Re-Member—a nonprofit that works alongside the Oglala Lakota Nation to improve daily life on the reservation.
Alongside Re-Member staff, they worked on projects like building bunk beds and constructing outhouses for families in need. Trips like this one remind us that some of the most important lessons don’t happen in a classroom—highlighting the importance of showing up for others, building meaningful relationships, and engaging with communities outside of our own. We’re so proud of this group and glad to have them home. 💙💛

BIG NEWS! There’s something about the glow of stadium lights on a Friday night, and this summer, that feeling is coming home! 💡🏟️
A handful of generous donors quietly committed $795,000 to fund the installation of stadium lights for the SP and SPSG varsity fields, a project that will be completed this summer. Friday nights on Falls Road just got a whole lot brighter. New opportunities for athletics, community gatherings, and special events are ahead for St. Paul’s!

Congratulations to the class of 2026!
The class of 2026 gathered on Hamilton Lawn this morning to celebrate commencement with friends, families, and the St. Paul’s community. Drawing on four timeless principles from “All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten”—share, play fair, clean up your own messes, and hold hands and stick together—student-selected speaker Andrew Cooper ‘26 challenged his classmates to lead lives of integrity, accountability, and community as they carry the brotherhood of St. Paul’s into the next chapter.
In his address to the graduating class, Head of School Edward M. Trusty Jr. reflected on the significance of the moment—drawing on themes of completion, renewal, and promise—and challenged the class of 2026 to pursue their passions, maintain strong relationships, and go forward in service to others. “Commencements mark both an end—and a beginning,” he said. “Today you are furthering a bond that transcends your time on campus.”
Three members of the class of 2026 were honored with special awards. Beckett Stevens ’26, Max Levesque ’26, and Harris Levy ’26 earned the Kinsolving-Hamilton Award, the Arthur B. Kinsolving Fellowship Award, and the Alumni Medal, respectively.

Before this morning’s commencement, the senior class gathered with faculty in the chapel for St. Paul’s annual plaque ceremony. As part of this time-honored tradition, SP Alumni Board President Kenny Moore ‘02 welcomed the class of 2026 as the newest members of the Alumni Association and unveiled the plaque that bears the name of each graduate.
During the ceremony, Upper School Math Teacher Sarah Bateman was honored with the Spratley Award for Outstanding Student Mentoring. This award celebrates the St. Paul’s tradition of faculty-student mentoring by recognizing a teacher, coach, or staff member who has made a meaningful impact on the life of our graduating students. Each year, nominations for the Spratley Award are submitted by members of the senior class. The award was established by the generosity of Virginia Spratley, grandparent of Jack Pellington ’12, Virginia Pellington SPSG ’14, and Peyton Pellington SPSG ’17.

We’re celebrating the class of 2026! Our 83 seniors received acceptances to 164 different colleges and universities and will attend 60 schools in 21 states and Washington, D.C. The colleges range from as far away as Whittier College in California to as close as Towson University, from Middlebury College in the north to the University of Miami in the south. Choices include Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) like Howard University, US Service Academies like United States Military Academy at West Point, STEM based institutions like Worcester Polytechnical Institute, liberal arts colleges like Washington and Lee, and comprehensive universities like the University of Virginia. One student will be pursuing a gap year—completing completing National Outdoor Leadership School in Alaska and Canada before enrolling at a collegiate institution. Each student’s choice has a story, and we are excited to honor this class!
St. Paul’s is proud to recognize our 13 seniors who will be trailblazers at their colleges. A trailblazer is the first St. Paul’s graduate to attend a particular college in the past five or more years. These graduates will attend 12 different institutions, including North Carolina A&T, United States Merchant Marine Academy, and Wesleyan University.
