MSEA sent out an email this morning with some scholarship information. If you are looking for some help paying for college please consider applying for one of these:
BEVERLY CORELLE SCHOLARSHIP: DEADLINE JANUARY 16 30
MSEA is pleased to announce The Beverly Corelle Scholarship which provides two scholarship opportunities for MSEA members pursuing degrees in education.
In accordance with her wishes, MSEA launched October 31 the application for the Beverly Corelle MSEA Educator Scholarship. This will be a one-year, non-renewable scholarship. Information detailing the scholarship criteria and a link to the applications are posted on the MSEA website. The deadline to apply is 5:00 p.m. on January 16 30, 2024. Late applications will not be considered.
There are two application forms. Please be sure you complete the correct application. All applicants must be members of MSEA. Click here for the applications.
JACK KINNAMAN SCHOLARSHIP: DEADLINE APRIL 15
The NEA-Retired Jack Kinnaman Scholarship Fund was established in 2002 to honor Jack Kinnaman, the former educator and NEA-Retired Vice President. Since its inception, the program has awarded five scholarships of $3,500 each, with winners chosen by the NEA-Retired Intergenerational Committee.
Applications are accepted December 1, 2023 through April 15, 2024, at 5:00 pm Eastern Time. Click here for the application.
