Say hello to our new teacher! 👋🏾Amir Joyner is a young talented professional dancer/teacher from Baltimore, MD. Amir began her training at Baltimore School for the Arts Twigs program from 2-8th grade where she received extensive & professional training in ballet, jazz, and modern. She then went on to attend Baltimore School for the Arts Highschool. Amir has also received training from Alvin Ailey. During her time of being a full time student, she began branching into teaching the youth at Dynamic Dance Troupe. After highschool, Amir has taken the Baltimore dance scene to the next level. Performing at Afram, Pride, Preakness, Riff & Cliff Festival & more. She has also given back her knowledge to kids around the city, teaching at Designed Destiney, Challenge 2 Change, Mother Seton Academy and more!
