It's commendable to have two Morehouse representatives at the top of the leaderboard, and we anticipate a strong overall finish, likely second place, given the current standings, marking a great day for the team.

Yesterday’s Morehouse Golf Classic DMV was more than a tournament—it was a testament to the vision, commitment, and community that bind us together. From our sponsors whose generosity sustains opportunity, to the players whose competitive spirit filled the fairways, to the volunteers who gave their time, and to the Lake Presidential staff whose hospitality ensured a seamless day—we extend our deepest gratitude.

As Dr. Benjamin Mays '20, often reminded us, “Success is not measured by what you do compared to what others do, but by what you do with the ability God gave you.” Each of you used your gifts to make this event a triumph. And as Bakari Sellers would affirm, this gathering was not just about today’s game but about paving pathways for future generations of Morehouse men.

The Wake Robin Golf Club-Washington, DC , the oldest Afro-American women's golf club in the United States, invites everyone to participate in the 2025 Helen Webb Harris Founder's Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament. This event is not only a celebration of golf but also a vital fundraiser supporting the Junior Golf Scholarship Fund.

Scramble format
Prizes awarded in 3 divisions: Women, Men, & Mixed
Scholarship Presentation: Proceeds from the tournament will provide scholarships to deserving minority high school girls who are college-bound. The club aims to preserve the legacy and support the next generation of female golfers.
