The Baltimore Morehouse Alumni Association is proud to have participated in the HCPSS (Howard County Public School System) College Fair dedicated to highlighting the incredible opportunities at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)!
This amazing event brought together students, parents, guardians, educators, and counselors on Saturday at Guilford Park High School. It was a day filled with inspiration, learning, and empowerment as attendees explored academic programs, connected with HBCU representatives, and gained valuable insights into campus life.
Workshops on the impact of HBCUs and the future of higher education, as well as financial aid, scholarships, and career pathways, were a highlight of the day.
Current Morehouse Junior, Evan Spann, was on the panel. He is a Psychology major and wants to work in the Clinical Mental Health field.
Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the rich legacy and promising future of HBCUs. Together, weβre making higher education more accessible and impactful for our communities!

Join us in extending a heartfelt thank you to our brother, Dr. Jason Hammond β97, for hosting the Baltimore Morehouse and Spelman Student Sendoff.
Local students and their families had the unique chance to connect with alumni and alumnae, discussing the doβs and donβts, upcoming life-changing experiences, and the rich legacies of Spelman and Morehouse.
We ask for your prayers for these young men and women as they embark on their transformative journeys. Every donation, whether financial, volunteer service, or mentoring, plays a vital role in their success.
