Dedicated to research, not clinical training, the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Johns Hopkins has one of the top-ranked psychology departments in the world.

We want you to create the next Psychology department t-shirt! Be creative and make your designs here:

Please restrict designs to no more than two colors on one side and only one on the other. Also, please refrain from including the year in the design. Submissions should be sent to [email protected] by October 31st.

Get to know Dr. Jason Fischer, the newest faculty member of the department, over lunch! He studies visual perception, with his lab investigating questions like how people are able to see whether a stack of dishes is stable or may topple over (intuitive physical reasoning), or how people are able to read road signs and see other vehicles when driving in heavy rain (perceptual stability).

Film screening: 'Touched with Fire' 12/11/2015

The Johns Hopkins Mood Disorders Center, with the National Network of Depression Centers Psychiatry and the Arts Series, presents a film screening of Touched with Fire, the drama romance that follows two bipolar poets as they fall in love

The screening of the film will be followed by a question-and-answer session with filmmaker Paul Dalio as well as experts from the Johns Hopkins Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Director J. Raymond DePaulo, Jr., M.D. and author and teacher Kay Redfield Jamison, PhD.

In Hopkins Handshake, students upload resumes for review by employers, who can also search your student profile and contact you within the system. Handshake will be your access point to other key career resources such as Interview Stream, résumé templates, interview preparation materials, and career exploration tools, such as Glassdoor.com.
