Baseball Bob

The Baltimore Baseball Academy (Baseball Bob) is currently training baseball players at Coach Raffys Sports Zone located at 1204 Paul’s Lane, Joppa, Maryland 21085. I train players from recreation baseball to college baseball. I’m a assistant varsity baseball coach at Calvert Hall College high school. My training consists of pitchers, catchers, hitting, infield, outfield, base running and team training.

Parents, this article is long but it is worth the time to read it to the end. I was a L/H pitcher and I suffered through discomfort and pain in my left elbow. I found out late in my career that it was my UCL. I did not tear my UCL. What I suffered though is called Medial Epicondylitis, which is a inflammation due to overuse. I know personally what Dr. James Andrews is talking about in his article. So, parents take the time to read the article and maybe you might save your son’s pitching arm from some serious injuries.

Baltimore Baseball Academy is now having registration for the January Baseball clinic. This clinic is open to all baseball organizations.
Location: The Cages BTC 1202 Pauls Lane Joppa, MD 21085
Price: $250 per student
Days and Time: January 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st - 8:00am-11:00am
Students will learn the fundamentals/advanced drills of hitting, Base Running, Fielding [infield/outfield ]

Baseball Bob attended the Swing XP hitting videos session at The CagesBTC. Tom and I use these training bats when we train our hitting students. We both have found that these bats that are weighted in the handle have helped our students tremendously. The SwingXP training bat helps our students keep their hands in close and the k**b of the bat inside the baseball while going through their swing mechanics. Also, they help our students get through the hitting zone much quicker. With the weight in the handle, the SwingXP training bat keeps the batter from casting. Tom and I would recommend this training bat for all your hitting sessions. USA baseball has joined SwingXP and now all their youth teams train with these bats. There are some MLB teams that are training with the SwingXP bats and more teams are coming on board.
