I got to know Richard Marsiglia when I was new at Clementine, working the lunch shift. He liked the Italian subs I would make him, and we quickly developed a humorous rapport.
A few years later when some friends and I had the idea for Hamiltone Music, Rich and Regina McCloskey-Lansinger put countless hours into helping us make it happen.
To say there would be no Hamiltone Music without Rich is an understatement. He literally helped us build it, gave us guidance on starting a new business, and was always available when we needed him. When it was time to move from the Hamilton Ave location he was there to help once again, setting me up in my current studio space above Emma's Tea Spot.
His passing is heartbreaking, and the loss to our community is immeasurable. To have known someone so kind, so caring, and so giving of their time and labor has been a gift that I will forever be thankful for.
Thank you, Rich, and rest in peace my friend...
