Thank you to all students, parents, teachers, staff, and friends who helped make the Club Mania Closing Ceremony and Art Exhibition such a HUGE SUCCESS tonight!!!!! We enjoyed having so many happy faces there enjoying the artwork and hard work our students have put forth this year in school and in their clubs! Great job NEMS scholars!!! Celebrating the work of our NEMS artists this beautiful afternoon, Brandon Chambers and Manisha S***a of 8th grade, and Serenity Jordan and Nicole Penn of 6th grade got their artwork in the Baltimore City Schools art exhibition, For Your Inspiration 2015 :) congrats to our artists!

In light of the recent Baltimore protests and riots, as well as the recent earthquake in Nepal, the students of Ms. White's Art Class venture outside to express their feelings in a positive way and to make their voices heard through ART on this gorgeous Friday. The art students did a wonderful job expressing their thoughts, ideas, feelings and concerns in such an artistic way, that brightened up the walls of our building, inspiring others as they joined on the field for an afternoon incentive field day. Very proud of the NEMS artists!
