There are three features that we believe distinguish Novus Learning from other exam preparation companies:
Highly Qualified Instructors
We feel that teaching excellence is the key to student success. We ensure that our Instructors are the very best in a number of ways:
All Instructors have graduated with honors from top MBA programs in the country. They also must have prior teaching experience i
n order to be considered. All Instructors must undergo a rigorous audition process to be extended an offer. After that, they undergo a 3-month training process before being allowed to see students. In order to attract and retain the best teachers, we pay an above-average base salary, plus a performance-based annual bonus. So, your evaluation of the instructor at the end of a course affects their compensation. You can read more about our Instructors by visiting our Instructors page or Testimonials page. At Novus Learning we believe in providing full flexibility for our students. Novus Learning is the only prep company that allows you to build your own CFA study program by combining a group class with one-on-one tutoring that is tailored to your specific needs. Because the CFA curriculum is so broad and diverse, many candidates find that they already have some knowledge or work experience in some areas, while requiring extra help in other areas of the curriculum. See CFA Course Schedules and CFA Private Tutoring. Content-Based Curriculum
We believe that the best curriculum should provide students with fundamental knowledge of the subject, be it Quantitative Methods, Financial Statement Analysis, or Project Management. We strive to re-teach students the underlying concepts, not just review them, since many students may have never studied them before. Other test prep companies on the market focus on teachable methods, such as "process of elimination" and "backsolving" techniques. While we also make use of these test-taking techniques, we put our main emphasis on providing test takers of all levels with content mastery and an organized approach that builds skills for every question type on the exam, including the most advanced content that most other prep companies ignore.
