What is the best way to improve your SAT Reading score?
I find that most students lose points on the Reading section because of the test's challenging vocabulary. As you go through the practice tests, if you find that you are not familiar with many of the words, take the time to write them out on separate flash cards.
Then, look them up in the dictionary and write the definitions on the flip side. You can also buy pre-made SAT vocabulary flash cards. Whether you make them or buy them, test your memory with flash cards for about 20 minutes a day.

What is the IMC exam and do we tutor it?
IMC is the Investment Management Certificate. It is a mini version of the CFA charter offered by the CFA Society of the United Kingdom. Many UK financial industry employers require it. After the IMC, many candidates continue to study for the CFA.

What should be your target score when you practice for your CFA exam? I recommend aiming for 80% when you do concept checkers at the end of each reading, when the material is still fresh in your mind. If you cannot get 80%, you should re-read the material and review the examples in the text.
When you do full-length practice exams after you do all the readings, I recommend aiming for at least 70%. It is true that you can still pass the exam even if you score in the 50-70% band on some of the sections, but I would not count on it: keep practicing until you get at least 70% consistently!

Should you take the LSAT exam in October or in December? I suggest that you do not put it off - take it in October.
That way, if you are not satisfied with your LSAT score, you can learn from the October exam experience, study for two more months, and re-take the exam in December.
Do not worry, law schools will use only your latest and highest exam score in their admissions decisions.

Many LSAT students ask: to how many law schools should I apply? Some assume that they should apply only to the school they most want to attend, or to the school that is likely to pay for a "full ride."
In my opinion, getting into law school is a numbers game. LSAC lets you send your LSAT score to ten law schools for no extra charge, so apply to ten!
If you score high, the application fees will be waived. But even if you have to pay ten application fees, it will ultimately pay off because it will maximize your chances of being accepted and, if you get into several schools, will give you an opportunity to compare several financial aid packages and select the best deal.
