Due to the weather, we will be having an indoor dismissal today. All K-4 families should enter through the Main Entrance on Edgewood St. to pick up their child.

5th graders will be dismissed on Clifton St.

PreK and 6-8th graders will be dismissed from their regular locations.

As a reminder, dismissal is at 2:10, and early dismissal ends at 1:40. No students will be dismissed between 1:41 and 2:09.

Team and Family -- All are welcome to attend the next meeting of KIPP Baltimore's Board of Directors on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 4:00-6:00 pm in the Team & Family Room at our Walbrook campus.

Additional SY26-27 meetings of our Board of Directors will be held on December 1, 2026; February 16, 2027; March 23, (FY28 special budget meeting); April 20; and June 1.

ALSO: We are actively seeking at least one parent or guardian of a currently-enrolled KIPPster to join our Board of Directors for a three-year term. Parent leadership helps ensure that the decisions we make reflect the real experiences, hopes, and priorities of our students, alumni, families, and communities. Board members help guide the future of our schools, support our students and alumni, and champion KIPP in the community. No prior board experience is required — training and mentorship are provided.
