Jones, a leading historian and Society of Black Alumni Presidential Professor at Johns Hopkins University’s SNF Agora Institute, discuss her groundbreaking book, Vanguard: How Black Women Overcame Barriers, Won the Vote, and Insisted on Equality for All. Dr. Jones will be joined by Nadia E. Brown, Professor of Government at Georgetown University, in a dynamic conversation exploring the critical roles Black women have played in the fight for equality.
