To the Class of 2026: this prayer is for you.
As you step into your next chapter, may you walk boldly, choose wisely, and remember that your voice, your presence, and your purpose matter. May you never shrink yourself to fit into spaces you were meant to transform. We are proud of you, we believe in you, and we are praying for all that is ahead.
And to everyone else: this graduation season, let’s go beyond simply saying “congratulations.”
Leave a graduate with something they can carry — words of wisdom, a prayer, a reminder of who they are, or encouragement for who they are becoming. And to those who participated in our “Dear Graduate” campaign, thank you.
Because sometimes the right words, shared at the right time, become the voice a young person hears when they need courage for the road ahead. Congratulations, Class of 2026. Keep going. Keep becoming. Keep leading.

Women Leading Baltimore empowers girls 12–18 to lead the world beyond where they live and go to school.Through mentorship, leadership development & career exposure opportunities, we equip girls with the skills to thrive in school, career, and life.
Here’s to the mamas, aunties, grandmas, bonus moms, and mother figures whose voices live rent-free in our heads.
From “Do you have McDonald’s money?” to “I’m not one of your little friends,” our girls reminded us that a mother’s love is often wrapped in laughter, lessons, and lines we will never forget.
Happy Mother’s Day to the women who guide us, correct us, cheer for us, pray over us, and somehow always know when we’re doing too much. 🩷
What’s something your mother always says? Drop it in the comments.
What’s wrong with being…
What’s wrong with being…
What’s wrong with being confident?
Thank you for helping our girls experience 🩷 it was the perfect close out to our girl chat on what it means to be a girls girl!

Demi Lovato did NOT disappoint 🫶🏽
When we first asked our girls if they wanted to see her, the responses were a mix of “who?” and “that girl from Disney?” All we could do was smile at their innocence.
Fast forward to last night… watching them sing their hearts out to songs they didn’t even realize they knew.
That’s what exposure does. It opens doors, builds confidence, and creates moments they’ll carry with them for years to come.
Thank you for helping us create core memories while gently nudging girls beyond their comfort zones.
Them: What would you say to the first girl?
Us: There’s room for you here at Women Leading Baltimore because we know what it means to be a girls girl!

Meet Ny’lah, an 8th grader who recently joined Women Leading Baltimore.
If you attended our Women We Admire event last month, you wouldn’t believe that she was one of our newest members or that she’s 13 years old. She is curious, confident and dreams of becoming a pediatric neurosurgeon one day.
What we love most about Ny’lah is that she’s a girls girl. Here’s what she had to say about her first meet up:
“When I walked in, the girls were so nice and I felt like I could really be myself. I joined because I wanted a space where I could grow and be around people who support. I think more girls deserve a space like this.”
Our girls have big dreams and even bigger goals help us connect Ny’lah to a neurosurgeon to learn more about their day to day and the skills she needs to become one.

Becoming Her… The Conversations We Owe Our Girls
This fireside chat was candid, intentional and a reminder that we all have a story to share. A story of victory, a story of resilience and of joy. And many of the truths that are imbedded in our stories deserve to be shared with our girls.
Join us in the comments, What is something society gets wrong about girls today?
Women We Admire was more than a celebration, it was a room full of truth, sisterhood, and the kind of love that reminds you what’s possible when women and girls are in community together.
From the voices of our girls leading the program, to the 14 incredible women we honored, to every conversation, hug, and “I needed this” our guests left full.
To our sponsors, thank you.
Thank you for believing in this vision, for investing in our girls, and for helping us create a space where they could see, feel, and step into who they’re becoming.

The Women We Admire flower bar was really special.
Each stem wasn’t just chosen for its beauty—but for its meaning. Strength. Joy. Growth. Softness. Resilience. We wanted every woman to not just build a bouquet, but to build a feeling… something she could carry with her long after the night ended.
Watching women pause, select each stem with care, and create something uniquely theirs felt like a reflection of the very thing we celebrate—women becoming, in real time. Thank you to for sponsoring a moment that invited our guests to slow down, reflect, and leave with something meaningful.
