A quick reminder for my dance teachers and dance educators.
Auditioning is not the easiest process but it can be simple if you have clarity about what you’re looking for and what you’re looking at.

🍎Hey dance teachers are you prepared for the next academic year?
If not when do you start your planning?

🍎We don’t need another book written by a person who doesn’t understand dance.
👩🏾‍🏫But we certainly could use some additional in-depth detailed writings by dancers.
💃🏽Please leave your name and book in the comments below we are here to support.

As dance educators we are very that not everyone who enters our space will make it to a professional stage.
🍎So the question is : what are you doing with that information?

👩🏾‍🏫Are you cultivating people who support the arts through their skills or love?

Last night I attend All Road Leads to Africa 2026. I left the concert will with joy because the Baltimore community showed up and showed out. Performers ranged from ages 5 -72 and they PERFORMED. I am proud of my city, I am happy my elders are still dancing, drumming and taking care of the Lighting Design. I’m elated that my former students now have families that also perform, and thank West African Dance still lives strong in Baltimore. Thank you Keur Khaleyi African Dance Company
