To celebrate our scholars with Perfect Attendance during Quarter 3 , Northwood’s McDonalds ( Havenwood Location) donated over 100 Happy Meals to celebrate our scholars who make it to school every day ! Northwood’s Girls Group Overnight Retreat was a success once again !! Our young ladies in grades 3rd through 5th join us overnight for an activity filled evening . Students engage in team building , unplugging from social media , fitness , STEM activities, sweet treats and more . We’re always grateful for our Wholeness Specialist and Social Worker Ms Dixon and Ms Mills for continuously pouring positivity, manners , self reflection , confidence , and social emotional skills into these young ladies throughout the school year . We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and hope to see more ladies next school year . A huge thank you to the parents who donated items for this event and the staff who always volunteer their time !!

Food Pantry Update :

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Northwood Food Pantry for Thursday , March 19th has been rescheduled for March 27th at 11am . We do apologize for the inconvenience.

Northwood Food Pantry is today starting at 2pm. This is just a reminder that we will only offer one distribution for the remainder of the school year .

Food Pantry Update :

Northwood will only have one Food Pantry time for the rest of the school year . Pantry distribution will start at 2pm only moving forward. The next distribution is February 19th at 2pm .

I want let everyone know officially that I will be participating in a temporary Job Swap with the Y to improve my leadership skills starting on February 16th. During this time I will be transitioning out of the building for 2.5 months and someone will be stepping into my role here at the school. I'm super excited about this opportunity ,but will definitely miss my Northwood family while I'm gone . Friday will be my last day in the building .My replacements name is Houston Howell and he will be here starting February 18th. I'll still be reachable via email ,but he will be the person to reach out to during this swap. I will return the first week in May. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
