Greetings 8th Grade Families,
Yesterday, Principal Grant had the opportunity to meet with our 8th grade students and several parents to discuss the High School Choice process. As our scholars prepare for this important next step, we want to ensure that every student selects the βright fitβ school for their high school journey.
High School Choice applications open on December 1st. During yesterdayβs session, students received a High School Choice booklet along with several important handouts outlining key dates, requirements, and helpful resources. Please take some time to review these materials together at home. For your convenience, we have also attached digital copies of these resources to this message.
We strongly encourage families to attend upcoming open houses or shadow days at your studentβs top-choice schools. These experiences provide valuable insight into school environments and programs.
Next week, 8th grade students will have individually and in small group counseling sessions focused on high school choice planning and application support.
Please feel free to contact the school with any questions or concerns as we work together to support your childβs transition to high school.

Dear Beechfield Families and Staff,
Due to the forecast of severe thunderstorms and heavy rain on Wednesday and Thursday, we have made the difficult decision to revise our Fall Festival activities. While we are saddened by this change, rescheduling around our academic calendar and the weather conditions has proven challenging. Instead, we are excited to announce that this Friday, October 31st, we will host a Good Olβ Trunk or Treat! Our DJ will now join us on Friday. Students may wear Halloween costumes (please, no masks or costume props such as knives, guns, or other toy weapons). We will provide all candy and treats.
We need your help! Parents, staff, and community members are invited to decorate their car trunks and help make this a memorable event for our students.
Trunk or Treat Times: 8:45 AM β 11:00 AM
Location: Beechfield Elementary/Middle School
Sign-Up Link: https://forms.gle/h1dthkS4CKUSzs6F8
