Honors courses are designed for students who want more than just lectures. Expect smaller class sizes, discussion-based learning, research-focused projects, and professors who are deeply invested in your success.
But Honors College membership goes way beyond the classroom.

• Opportunities for funded academic experiences such as the Honors Scholars Program, Summer Research Experiences, Winter Seminars, and Honors Independent Study cohorts
• Transfer support including application and scholarship essay workshops, financial aid guidance, CV development, and individualized transfer advising

This fall, join Oceanography, Honors (ERSC 141) and explore the physical, chemical, biological, and geological processes that shape our oceans and our planet.
🌍 Unique Opportunity:
Connect virtually with a marine biology expert in La Ceiba, Honduras and gain insight into coastal reefs, marine life, and the cultural perspectives that influence ocean conservation.
