But Honors College membership goes way beyond the classroom.

• Opportunities for funded academic experiences such as the Honors Scholars Program, Summer Research Experiences, Winter Seminars, and Honors Independent Study cohorts
• Transfer support including application and scholarship essay workshops, financial aid guidance, CV development, and individualized transfer advising
• Leadership and service experience through the Student Honors Council
• Access to Honors Centers with study spaces, computer stations, free printing, and a kitchenette/lunch area
• Completion of the Honors Certificate (12 honors credits) unlocks transfer partnerships and significant scholarships at Maryland colleges and universities

Connect virtually with a marine biology expert in La Ceiba, Honduras and gain insight into coastal reefs, marine life, and the cultural perspectives that influence ocean conservation.
