We’re hiring multiple People & Culture Assistants – GS-5 at UNICEF Global Shared Services Centre (GSSC) in Budapest. 🌍

🧩 This role focuses on the administrative aspects of recruitment at the global level while making sure compliance with UNICEF`s rules and regulations and SLAs. This includes:
💠 Liaising with HRBPs and hiring managers
💠 Preparing vacancy announcements
💠 Creating longlists
💠 Coordinating assessments, interviews, and candidate feedback

💼 We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 1 year of recruitment experience.
📌 Eligibility: Nationals of Hungary or EU/Schengen countries (with valid work authorization)
🗣️ Language requirements: Fluent English is required. Intermediate level (verbal and written) in French, Spanish, or Arabic is considered an asset.

Guidance for action

Knowing if a situation requires intervention can be difficult, but actually getting people to act can be even harder. Not only are people afraid that they are misreading a situation, they may be afraid for their own safety, or that intervening could further escalate the situation.

Remember: there are many ways to intervene, and most of them do not require you to directly confront the person potentially causing harm. To be an active bystander, you must assume responsibility for acting once you feel a situation is likely wrong. It is better to intervene and have an awkward interaction when nothing is wrong than to sit back and allow something bad to happen to someone else.
