What does it actually look like when a remote team finally gets in the same room together?

For us it started with flights from Puerto Rico, Florida, and Baltimore all landing in Maryland. It started with unpacking an Airbnb, figuring out the WiFi, and sitting down together for the first real conversation we’d been waiting to have.

No lag. No muted mics. Just our team, in person getting crystal clear on what we’re building and where we’re going.

This is the first post in a series taking you behind the scenes of the Eurekii retreat. From our first working sprint to the moments in between we’re sharing all of it.

Because Human Connection isn’t just something we teach. It’s something we live.

This week we brought together tutors from across the country as well as members of our global team for a Jackbox game social. A lot of us work with different teams, different students, and different schedules, so getting to laugh, compete, and connect outside of sessions was such a fun reminder that we’re all part of something bigger. Moments like this make our virtual spaces feel real.💙
And honestly?
The competitive energy during Jackbox was VERY real 😂
