Hello, wondering if I could enlist the help of other BP alumni. What connections do you have?? My Mom worked tirelessly for years in the Brooklyn Park Community and when she passed away a small plaque was placed in her memory on a small plot of ground at the end of Morgan Road. The now acting President of the community would like to have it removed...for what possible reason except for some issue that is her's and her's alone? In a time when large imposing memorials are being removed due to a person's actions or remarks...what a disgrace to remove a small reminder of a life lived loving a community and working hard on its behalf. Please share this!

Last week it was announced on a BP fb pgs that Mrs. Burcaw aka Shank aka Ciranka had been placed in Chesapeake Hospice. Today it has been announced that she passed away.

It is with heavy heart that I am writing to say that my aunt Rosalie Burcaw passed away this morning at 3:30am 2/25/18. I know she will not be forgotten by all of her family, friends and students from Brooklyn Park.

The 16th Annual Bull and Oyster Roast of the Brooklyn Park High School Alumni Association drew so many alumni some alumni had to be turned away on April 22.
