1️⃣3️⃣ years ago, I was a teacher at at Hampstead Hill Academy in Baltimore City. This morning, I returned as a guest speaker for Career Day, and presented to middle school students about my work. We talked about nonprofit management, LGBTQ inclusion and what it takes to start and run a business. I even visited my old classroom! 🥲 I’ll always love this place, my first teaching home. Thank you HHA for inviting me to speak to your students!

Shout out to the best photographer who also happens to be Maryland’s 2024-25 Teacher of the Year, THEE .lojo 🤍

Thank you and the Committee for LGBTQ+ Advocacy, Support and Inclusion (CLASI) for inviting me to host this year’s Trans Day of Visibility event! As a former CCBC student, this meant a lot to me. Nearly 15 years ago, I was cramming for my Calc III exam at the Catonsville library, and today, I was an invited special guest! During a time when initiatives like these are being scrapped at college campuses across the country, I’m proud to be an alum of a school that insists on ensuring these spaces remain. 🏳️‍⚧️
