Teacher of the Month:
Mrs. Bixby is a true powerhouse. Whether she is fostering a sense of belonging and wholeness within our community or keeping our TV studio running like a well-oiled machine, her dedication is unmatched. Her commitment to her students ensures they have a voice and a creative outlet every single day. We are so lucky to have her leadership in the studio and the classroom!

Unsung Heroes:
We also want to extend a special thank you to our Occupational Therapist, Mr. Dave Coffman, and Mrs. Lynette Christensen. Despite the hustle of managing busy schedules across the county, they never lose sight of what matters most: the students.

They consistently find innovative ways to build meaningful relationships and provide essential support to meet the unique needs of every child they serve. Their ability to make each student feel seen and supported, even while on the move, is a testament to their professionalism and heart.

Thank you all for making our school a better place to learn and grow!

Our Edgemere Elementary PTA seriously crushed it this past week! They really do Teacher Appreciation better than anyone else. A huge shout out to them for the daily reminders that they’ve always got our backs. Ending the week with a nacho bar was the absolute best way to wrap things up.

They also hooked everyone up with these awesome, super comfy sweatshirts. We’re honestly so lucky to have such a great crew supporting us. We are forever grateful!

A huge shout out to Mrs. Easter for joining us for Work Wednesday! Our students loved learning about the life of a Nurse Practitioner. We are incredibly grateful for her time and her constant dedication to our kids, whether she is teaching them about her career or caring for them when they are under the weather. Thank you for all you do!

Way to go, Blue Jays! So proud to see such hard work and dedication to always SOARing Above!

Who doesn’t love Frozen? Come support our local middle schoolers next weekend (Many former blue jays!) They have been working hard to put on this fun, magical show! Let’s help them fill the auditorium!
