On Monday, we gathered to celebrate the achievements, dedication, and hard work of our students during our Annual AIQ Week.

Allah سبحانه وتعالى encourages us to compete in goodness and righteousness. He says in the Qur’an:
فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ
"So compete with one another in doing good."
— Surah Al-Baqarah 2:148

The Prophet ﷺ also reminded us of the great honor of the people of the Qur’an. He said:
يُقَالُ لِصَاحِبِ الْقُرْآنِ: اقْرَأْ وَارْتَقِ وَرَتِّلْ كَمَا كُنْتَ تُرَتِّلُ فِي الدُّنْيَا، فَإِنَّ مَنْزِلَتَكَ عِنْدَ آخِرِ آيَةٍ تَقْرَؤُهَا
"It will be said to the companion of the Qur’an: Recite and rise in ranks, and recite as you used to recite in the dunya, for your position in Jannah will be at the last verse you recite."

What a beautiful reminder that every ayah memorized, every letter recited, and every effort made for the sake of Allah raises a believer to higher levels in Jannah.

Our students spent the week of May 4 competing in the best of competitions — the Qur’an, Islamic knowledge, and the Arabic Spelling Bee.

We celebrated not only the winners, but every student who participated, challenged themselves, and worked hard throughout AIQ Week. We are proud of all of you.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all of the AIQ teachers and the entire school staff for their dedication, teamwork, patience, and continuous support in making AIQ Week a successful and memorable week for our students and community.

May Allah reward everyone who contributed to this beautiful effort, place barakah in our students’ knowledge, and make the Qur’an the light of their hearts and the guide of their lives.

Throwing it back through the decades at Al-Rahmah School’s Spirit Week!

From groovy ‘70s vibes to iconic ‘80s looks, bold ‘90s fashion, and beyond—our students brought history to life with creativity, enthusiasm, and school spirit!

A beloved ARS tradition continues! Our 7th graders worked tirelessly to surprise and celebrate our graduating 8th graders and high school seniors with a heartfelt graduation party filled with joy, creativity, and unforgettable memories.

From beautifully planned decorations to delicious dishes lovingly prepared by parents, every detail reflected the strong spirit of community, teamwork, and care that makes ARS so special. This meaningful celebration honored our graduates’ achievements while showcasing the incredible bonds between students, families, and staff.

Congratulations to our graduates, and thank you to our amazing 7th graders and parents for making this tradition so memorable!

We are twinning today for Twin Day!!

Festivities of Teacher Appreciation Week have begun— we have kicked off the week with an Appreciation Breakfast from ARS Board of Education and ISB Council.

Blooming with Gratitude!

For Earth Day, a project display was made by the 7th Grade based on Realistic Fiction- "Allied With Green," by Naomi Shihab Nye.

Some of the underlying theme of the story also centers on:
- Recycling
- Renewing
- Reusing
- Repurposing

The project also reflected how this Realistic Fiction can inspire us to actually become advocates for environmental change, improvement of health, greening the environment, and creating safe spaces within our community.

The display was created and presented to showcase the student's work and practical understanding of the genre, characterization, setting, lessons learned, and applied.

As the school year comes to a close, our students are making unforgettable memories on their end-of-year field trips!

From educational adventures to exciting experiences with classmates, these special trips are a wonderful way to celebrate a year of hard work, growth, and achievement. Alhamdulillah for the opportunity to learn, explore, and strengthen friendships beyond the classroom.

We are so proud of our students for representing our school with excellence, curiosity, and Islamic values wherever they go. May these experiences leave lasting memories and inspire even more learning ahead! Ameen!
