Community Safety Notice
During periods of severe or inclement weather like the conditions our city recently experienced, power outages can impact traffic signals across Baltimore. Drivers may encounter intersections where traffic lights are completely out or flashing.
🚨 Please remember:
🔴 Flashing Red Light
Treat it like a STOP sign.
Come to a full stop, check all directions, and proceed only when it is safe.
🟡 Flashing Yellow Light
Slow down and proceed with caution.
Stay alert for pedestrians, cyclists, and cross traffic.
⚠️ If a traffic light is completely out, treat the intersection as a four-way stop.
Our community’s safety depends on every driver staying alert, patient, and informed, especially during and after severe weather events.
Thank you for doing your part to keep our neighborhoods safe.

Our youth carry an energy that is powerful, raw, and full of potential. Too often, when that energy has nowhere to go, it can spill into conflict and be misunderstood as violence. But when we redirect that same energy into youth programs, sports, mentorship, and community spaces, it becomes something extraordinary.
We’ve seen firsthand how athletics and positive engagement can transform confidence, discipline, and purpose. When we invest in our young people; truly invest we don’t just change outcomes for individuals, we shift the culture. We reshape the narrative of how the youth of Baltimore City are seen, supported, and valued.
Our kids are not the problem. They are the possibility.
Let’s continue to pour into them, build with them, and create spaces where their brilliance can thrive. Baltimore’s future depends on it.
Have a great Thanksgiving!
