📵 NUEVA POLÍTICA SOBRE TELÉFONOS CELULARES PARA 2026–2027

Familias de Curtis Bay: ¡Prepárense para un cambio importante cuando los estudiantes regresen a la escuela el lunes 24 de agosto!

Los estudiantes pueden traer teléfonos celulares a la escuela; sin embargo, deberán permanecer apagados, guardados y asegurados durante todo el día escolar.

📱 Al llegar, los estudiantes entregarán sus teléfonos al maestro designado de su grado.

🔒 Los teléfonos se colocarán en un contenedor con cerradura y se guardarán de manera segura.

🏠 Los estudiantes recibirán sus teléfonos a la hora de la salida, antes de irse a casa.

☎️ Las familias que necesiten comunicarse con sus hijos durante el día escolar deberán llamar a la oficina principal de Curtis Bay Elementary. En caso de emergencia, los estudiantes podrán usar un teléfono de la escuela o su dispositivo personal con el permiso del personal.

📵 NEW CELL PHONE POLICY FOR 2026–2027

Curtis Bay families, please be prepared for an important change when students return to school on Monday, August 24th!

Students may bring cell phones to school; however, phones must remain powered off, put away, and secured throughout the entire school day.

📱 Upon arrival, students will give their phones to their designated grade-level teacher.

🔒 Phones will be placed in a lockable tote and stored securely.

🏠 Students will receive their phones back at dismissal before leaving school.

☎️ Families who need to reach their child during the school day should call the Curtis Bay Elementary main office. In an emergency, students will have access to a school phone or their personal device with staff permission.

It’s that time of year and we’re ready to gear up for Back to School. Baltimore Recnparks offers free afterschool programming for families, if you’re in need please follow the link and register at a center near us (Myers) or (Curtis Bay). For more information follow the link listed below.

Parents, it's almost time for the kids to hang up their summer sandals and lace up their school shoes.

Our FREE after-school program is back, and here to help you focus on work.

We offer your kids, ages 5-12 (some locations up to 14), a chance to unwind and do homework, play sports, participate in STEM activities, enjoy snacks, and even dinner!

After School Adventures Fall session runs from August 31 to December 18 from 2:30-5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. We have locations all across the city.

Registration opens on Monday, August 17 at 1:30 pm. Set your alarms!

Community Resource available tomorrow The Transformation Center

We have TONS of fresh produce for tomorrow’s distribution! Watermelon, apples, oranges, peppers, cantaloupe, pineapple, zucchini, onions and potatoes. Doors open at 9 AM. Come as early as 6:45 AM to receive a ticket to hold your place in line for when the doors open! See you Saturday morning 🍎🍊🍍🍉🫑🧅
