These two amazing P-TECH scholars were part of the winning team at the Baltimore Hackathon, where they built an innovative app designed to provide services to the citizens of Baltimore. 👏🏾✨

Today, they had the honor of presenting their project to the Mayor of Baltimore — a true example of student brilliance meeting community impact. 🌟💡

PTECH Dunbar Pride!
Seven outstanding students from the Class of 2025 have officially earned their Associate Degrees in General Science before graduating high school!

Eight more students are just one or two classes away and are set to finish this summer.

Today, we honored these trailblazers with the coveted PTECH Dunbar Jean Jacket during a special awards ceremony celebrating their hard work, resilience, and excellence.

The future is bright—and it’s wearing denim.

We’re beaming with pride as we celebrate our incredible P-TECH scholars from Dunbar—13 students who have officially earned their Associate of Science degrees in General Science from BCCC!
Even more remarkable—seven of them are from the P-TECH Class of 2025 and have achieved this milestone while still in high school.

Congratulations to Dania S. for being chosen out of hundreds of applicants as an intern for the Dental Research Experience (DREX) at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry! Over nine weeks, she conducted one-on-one research on the expression of CFos in pain-related brain areas of the CGI-58 KO mouse line. We are incredibly proud of you, Dania! Your future is shining bright!

School year 23-24 grades have posted and new GPAs have been calculated. The PTECH 3.5 and above club has some new members. Welcome!! Congratulations on all of your hard work🎉🎉

The Class of 2027 officially became college students today! Today was their first day of classes at BCCC.

Popped in a BCCC Chem 101 lab this morning at the BioPark to see rising juniors in action.

Congratulations on making it to the end of school year 23-24. This year was filled with outstanding accomplishments. We maintained a 94% attendance rate for the entire school year. Cumulative high school and college GPAs went up tremendously. Your hard work and dedication to completing the Achieve3000 articles increased Lexile levels by an average of 207L per student. And the cherry on top was five students receiving their associate degrees in May. Have an amazing summer!
